Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway

Canceled for May 11th

With a 100% chance of rain in the forecast, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (PPMS) officials have made the decision to cancel the Nostalgia Night racing event for Saturday, May 11th. PPMS will work with the PA Thunder on the Dirt's Vintage Modified Series to reschedule for a date later this season.

Our next event comes next Saturday as the RUSH Sportsman Modified Series joins our Action Event program for the second time this season. It was "The Tiona Terror" Kole Holden who earned a victory during their first visit, but with a healthier car count than in years past, driver's from throughout the region will look to claim a win of their own on the May 18th show. The Rohrich Parts Center / Chevrolet Performance RUSH Late Models, Pittsburgh Truck Center Penn Ohio Pro Stocks, Fuel Required Hobby Stocks, Crawford Auto Repair Open Four Cylinders, and the All Ways Safe Flagging and Traffic Control Young Guns will make for a great night of racing at 'Dirt's Monster Half Mile!

The Choice for Change event is rapidly approaching! On May 25th, our All Ways Safe Flagging and Traffic Control Young Gun competitors will take center spotlight as they race for their selected charitable cause. The winning driver will donate all of the raised proceeds to their selected organization and celebrate with that organization in Victory Lane.

We cap off the month of May on a THURDAY night for one night only! Falconi's Moon Township Automotive brings you night two of Schaeffer's Specialized Lubricants Western PA Speedweek presented by J.S. Bova Excavating on Thursday, May 30th. Winged 410 Sprint Car Teams from this area and other regions will make their stop at the speedweek's fastest speedway. 'Complete Chaos' AJ Flick will look to make it back to back speedweek victories, but drivers such as Michael Bauer, Carl Bowser, and "The Steel City Outlaw" Tim Shaffer are a short list of the drivers who will look to put a stop to 'the Chaos'. They'll be joined by the UEMS Racing Series as the UMP sanctioned E-Mods make their first appearance at the speedway in five seasons. Additionally, the show-stealing Fuel Required Hobby Stocks will join to make it a three division knockout of a show.
