Little R Hosts Test, Tune, and Time to Begin 2024 Season

RANSOMVILLE, NY (May 9, 2024) The Performance Manufacturing Karting Series at the Little R got underway on Thursday night with Test, Tune, and Time. The top three for the Jr 1, Jr 2, Jr 3, Sr Lites, and Sr Heavy will get the top three starting spots in their respective features on Opening Night, Thursday, May 16. The pole sitters in each division also received new for 2024 Little R t-shirts.

Colin Spatorico picked up the pole in both the Mike Barry Motors Sr Heavy and the Fisher’s Auto Repair Sr Lite divisions. Colin ran a 10.622 second lap in the Sr Lite and backed it up with a 10.671 second lap in the Sr Heavy. The top three in the Sr Lites behind Spatorico was Riley Bloomingdale (10.705 seconds), and Ryan Gregoric (10.691 seconds). Behind Spatorico in the Sr Heavy were Eric Veihdeffer (10.737 seconds), and Trent Smith (10.761 seconds).

Aideen Rusnock will lead the field of Frontier Auto Wrecking Jr 3 to the green flag next Thursday night with a 10.870 second lap. Behind Rusnock was Ethan Hammer (11.081 seconds) and Tyler Moden (11.148 seconds).

Levi Herriven set quick time in the Bud’s Apple Pie Jr 2 division with a quick lap of 10.933 seconds. Jackson Bonesky (11.002 seconds) and Jax Cotriss (11.112) will start and second and third respectively.

Luke Holmes (11.236), Ryan Barry (11.392), and Mason Sharts (11.496) were the three fastest in the Planter Box Direct Jr 1 division.

The Reid’s Drive-In Novice division ran three hot lap sessions with the youngest competitors getting faster and faster with each session.

The Performance Manufacturing Karting Series features the Reid’s Drive-In Novice, Planter Box Direct Jr 1, Bud’s Apple Pie Jr 2, Frontier Auto Wrecking Jr 3, Fisher’s Auto Repair Sr Lites, and Mike Barry Motors Sr Heavy.
