Tickets now on sale for World of Outlaws return to Granite City Motor Park

SAUK RAPIDS, Minn. — April 14, 2021 — Tickets are now on sale for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series return to Granite City Motor Park in Sauk Rapids, Minn., on Saturday, June 5 and can be purchased online at www.SLSPromotions.com or by calling SLS Promotions at 815-344-2023.

The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series last visited Granite City Motor Park (formerly Granite City Speedway) in 2019, with two-time and defending series champion Brad Sweet picking up his first win at the track. Sweet, who is chasing his third straight Outlaws title, is the current series point leader and has a series leading five win in 13 starts in 2021.

Donny Schatz, the 10-time Outlaws champion has two wins at the track in his career, picking up the inaugural series win at the three-eighths-mile in 2015 and following that up with another trip to victory lane in 2016.

Another strong roster of drivers is on the road with the Outlaws this season, including Sheldon Haudenschild, who is currently second in points as well David Gravel, who joined the Minnesota-based Big Game Motorsports team this season and rides third in the current standings.

Carson Macedo, who has two wins already this season aboard the Jason Johnson Racing No. 41 is fourth in points, with Logan Schuchart, who also has a victory, in fifth.

Aaron Reutzel, the leading contender for the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award, has one win thus far in 2021 and is sixth in the standings, followed by Schatz, Kraig Kinser, fellow rookie Brock Zearfoss and Jason Sides.

Jacob Allen, who scored his long-awaited first-career Outlaws win 2020, is back on the tour again this season, along with Wayne Johnson and Mason Daniel, who are both in their sophomore seasons with the series.

James McFadden, who has a win this season, aboard the No. 9 for Kasey Kahne Racing, is also a rookie contender, along with Parker Price-Miller.
